Working at VSV

VSV is a fishery in Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland, operating since 1946. Around 300 permanent staff work across fishing, processing, administration, and management — making us the island's largest employer, providing work for about 7% of Vestmannaeyjar's population. We take pride in delivering quality Icelandic seafood, sustainably caught and processed at the heart of Vestmannaeyjar's seafood legacy.

We’re pretty proud to say that VSV employs 7% of the island of Vestmannaeyjar. Needless to say, we are the island’s largest employer with 300 permanent staff, while also calling in additional temporary workers for seasonal work.
